skydiving… checked!
Sunday, September 7th, 2008yesterday, 18 of us (mostly friends and coworkers) went to Parachute Center in Lodi, CA for a skydiving trip. Majority of the jumpers are first timers including me, we jumped from an altitude of 13,000 feet!
i was a little nervous before boarding the plane that took us at the jumping altitude, but once i boarded the plane and seated next to 6 of my friennds that’s when adrenalin took over and especially when the door opened then we started to move closer to the door and then my tandem master said, “i’ll tap you twice then go crazy!” next thing i know, i was at the door of the plane and i heard “1, 2, wwwwwwiiiiiiiiinnnnnddddddddd blowing” and all i see was sky, ground, sky, ground, sky, ground. i will post some pictures that my video/photographer took and the video once i have it converted.
to sum it up, IT WAS AWESOME! i would definitely do it again.

big surf trip to bolinas (the first surfing trip of the year and lots more to come) with friends and co-workers. you can see some pictures of the surf trip here.

helped my co-worker/friend move to her new apt in oakland. then later that afternoon, we went to see an awesome band called fujiko-chan (alt. link) at thee parkside and here’s some sample pics that i took of fujiko-chan

2008.09.02
and finally yesterday, its the end of a long weekend holiday (labor day) and its back to work ~sigh. actually it wasn’t too bad and in fact later that afternoon there was an emergency happening in the apartment building (northpoint apartments) across the street from my work place.
a fire broke out in one of the apartment units in the northpoint apts. and thanks for the quick response from the SFFD that the fire was contained right away.
