yesterday, i went to the san francisco film center with 3 of my co-workers to meet with the property manager for our upcoming company anniversary/mini-offsite meeting. we got there a little late because our printed map is telling us to enter a road that is one way.
when we got there, we met up with the property manager and we walked around the place and looked around as to where we will setup our AV equipments and such. and then when we are nearing our short meeting / Q&A about the place. we asked about if we can use tape for our AV cables.
PM: “no. you can’t use tape”
PM: ” but you can use gaffers tape.”
in my head i was saying, isn’t that a type of tape?
and then we were telling her that the map we used confused us on how to get to the place. and the property manager said, you can get our address if you “read the other contract with words”. good thing that i wasn’t the only one that heard her say that.
what kind of property manager would actually say to the client(s) that to “read the other contract with words.”
that’s how i got my quote of the day.
