Banana Land

my co-worker pointed this out to me while we were on the way to get lunch last week while i was on my database training.

can someone please explain this to me?

today my day started at 645am (i don’t usually wake up that early), coz’ i had to catch a train at 730am to go to san mateo for a databse training for work. now my brain is tired and i will do the same thing tomorrow and on friday. now i need to catch some ZZZzzzz’s.

this time it was a day trip to sugar bowl

tahoe 2007

this is when my good friend dugh tried to take a picute of us with his cell phone while we were on the lift going up to the summit at sierra at tahoe.

ahhh! it was another great day to snowboard.

our day started at around 9:30 am and this was outside our room.

we went to heavenly ski resort. i did not get to take pictures of us snowboarding as much as yesterday, for i was practicing my toe edge and perfecting the art of face planting, somersaults, and head banging on the ground multiple times. ofcourse i won’t be diong this without some gear to protect my head.

we are going for our last run of the day and there is a part of the trail that you need to gain as much speed as you can so that you won’t get stuck at a relatively flat area of the trail, and boy! good thing i was wearing a helmet.

i went down the trail and gained the speed that i needed and was on my toe edge then suddenly, my edge dug in to the snow and next thing i know, i was eating snow and banging my head on the ground big time and that knocked out the wind out of me and i was laying on the ground for about 5 sec. a ski patrol who was on the lift saw me wipe out and asked me if i was ok, i said “yea, i’m ok” and he said, “i’ve seen that kind of wipe out before and most beginers (in this case me) won’t be able to get up and will be needing a medic”. but i got up, shook it off then proceded at the fork on the trail were i found dugh having fun in the snow.

i had an awesome time despite of the face planting and all, i would do it al over again. now i must rest and crash. thanks dugh! for driving to tahoe.

so here we are in tahoe again. this time we went to sierra at tahoe its not the greatest of resorts, but i had fun snowboarding with dugh and ledge.

this is it for now, we are going out again tomorrow and i will post more pix after our run. i know tomorrow will going to be another awesome time!

here it is dugh i’m finally updating my blog. this is going to be a fast update, for i’m getting sleepy and i need to wake up early tomorrow.

- president’s day weekend – (02.17 – 02.19.07)

a group of my friends from VIZ went up to tahoe for ski and snowboarding and this is a sample of what we looked like that long weekend.

then a week later. we were finishing up one of our company “mini” move and working straight through saturday. now the week is nearly over, we are planing for another trip up to tahoe for another round of snobo. which i’m all excited about, coz’ i got my own gear now (thanks peter b.)and there is a lot of fresh snow up in tahoe.
